Due to a large employee base of ~7000 across continents, the client wanted to decrease the cost and time for data archiving, while increasing the system performance
Even after increasing their database size frequently, the client’s existing SAP ERP system was unable to efficiently process reporting, queries and searches. The need was to implement a comprehensive data archiving process with well-defined procedures which would lead to reduced system backup and recovery cost and time.
The solution
With extensive experience in executing data archiving for enterprises across size and industries, YASH undertook the data archiving initiative. For a smooth and successful transition to happen, we standardized the data archiving process after analyzing and cleaning more than seven years’ worth of data. The aim was to lower the recovery cost with a robust system backup and fine-tuned system upgrade.
