As an Enterprise Solution Architect you will lead cross-functional teams of experts to drive technology strategy, enterprise architecture delivery, and specific software development for our clients' needs. You will be expected to create and deliver competitive advantages for our clients by defining their technology objectives, assessing solution options, and devising architectural solutions that help them achieve both strategic goals and meet operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Advisory
- Work closely with YASH Business Consulting and Account Advisory groups to gain deep understanding of the client organization's business, their competitive landscape and the industry at large and determine client's strategic goals and operational requirements for creating competitive advantage
- Lead multi-disciplined teams (client, vendor and YASH) to create technology strategy and information technology roadmaps for operational and transformation programs
- Emerge as client's trusted technology advisor by continuously providing solutions that meet their needs
Architecture and Solution Development
- Lead multi-disciplined teams (client, vendor and YASH) to establish architecture guiding principles, reference architectures and implementations, frameworks and methodologies that will ensure the conversion of operational and transformation roadmaps into successful solution implementations
- Guide the evaluation of multiple, often competing, solution alternatives and drive the selection of the option that is in the best interest of the client
- Keep abreast of all relevant developments and innovations in the industry to ensure emerging technologies are correctly adopted to meet client needs
Delivery
- Work with Software Engineering Managers to ensure appropriate software engineering practices are applied during solution development
- Champion the creation and adoption of frameworks, methodologies and the 4A's - agility, analytics and automation and (re-usable) assets
Lead 2 Closure
- Be responsible for the architecting and designing of complex (multi-disciplined) technology solutions during bid phase
- Work closely with Sales, Account Advisory and client during the lead to closure cycle by providing knowledgeable subject matter expertise. Be an advocate for creation of technical roadmap for the client instead of one-off project. Lead demonstrations and presentations to support opportunities
- Support the transference of the proposed solution design to the delivery team, however remain engaged with the client long term (see Delivery above) and return as the trusted advisor for the next opportunity
Leadership
- Lead and build a team of Solution Architects in region and/or vertical
Experience
- You must have a combined 12-15 years of experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Thought Advisor to one or more Fortune 500 customers during which you would have helped established their technology strategy and information technology roadmap for operational and transformational programs and:
- Led and/or participated in Digital Transformation initiatives
- Led and/or participated in Application Portfolio Modernization and Consolidation initiatives
- Evangelized cloud adoption and lead multiple cloud migration initiatives
- Evangelized digital technology adoption and lead multiple engagements involving digital enablers including but not limited to cloud (IaaS, PaaS), data and analytics, embedded/IoT, integration, front-end, mobile, security and automation
- Minimum 4 years as Enterprise Architect during which you would have lead multi-disciplined in enterprise solutioning
- Created/Established reference architecture for diverse solutions such as Digital Platforms, Applications based on microservices and containers and Enterprise Integration platforms
- Proficient in creation of quality technical documents
- 6 - 8 years of experience as a Solution Architecture with evidence of successfully closing lead to closure cycles for large and complex technical and business solutions.
- Demonstrate experience in supporting entire presales cycle, including understanding of customer needs, solution, estimation and proposal creation
- Demonstrate involvement in bid / RFP responses of large deals
- Ability to create / contribute to technical content
- Strong communication skills, including presentation skills, including at CTO level
- 6+ years in cloud technologies with deep expertise in one or more of AWS, Azure or GCP
- Deep expertise in software development using Java, OpenSource, Microsoft and Mobile development stack
- Deep expertise in any one industry or business vertical
- Experience in implementing proven frameworks and methodologies such as 12 factor app, Agile, Scrum, LeSS, Nexus, Kanban
