Reducing HR & Payroll intervention in minimal cost, effort and time with Oracle HRMS
Headquartered in India, the client is a leading provider of technical and logistics solutions in the oil, gas, and renewable energy industry.
As a rapidly growing organization with 2,000+ employees across multiple locations and departments, the client sought to introduce the functionalities for flexible allocation of employee payments.
The client was running their business on Oracle Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Oracle Payroll. They needed a solution that provided payment allocation flexibility to all their employees including everything from house rent allowance, medical entitlement, to food vouchers, and educational allowance. As a result, the client sought out a solution to enhance the functionality of Oracle HRMS.
Team YASH proposed the implementation of Flexi Pay, a solution offering flexibility to all permanent and new hires to choose and distribute pay into several other reimbursable elements. We configured Flexi Pay and integrated the solution with the client’s existing HRMS as a separate menu function. Using YASH’s proprietary Oracle Application Framework within the Oracle E-Business Suite, the team developed two interfaces for Flexi Pay to give employees the ability to view and manage their flexible spending accounts and reimbursements.
As a result of streamlining and simplification of payment allocation, the need for manual intervention from HR and payroll users reduced both in cost and time. The new functionalities not only allowed employees to easily manage their payment allocations, but also receive significant tax benefits from the process.
