Migrating workflows from Nintex to Power Apps with 40% cost reduction
The client is a major manufacturer of portable and stationary rotary screw air compressors designed for commercial and industrial use.
As a pioneer in the compressed air solutions industry, the client had several business-critical applications that needed to be migrated from Nintex to Power Apps with lesser approval time, more accessibility and minimal cost.
A big challenge was to understand the Nintex workflow and implement those using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps. With complex features including barcode scanning and generation, as well as complex approval workflows with up to six levels of approval steps, a deep understanding and expertise of the Nintex technology.
After carefully studying the existing Nintex workflows, team YASH developed Nintex Screens using Power App and a responsive UI for all devices and applications. The team worked in partnership with individual business units to understand every unique approval workflow and developed custom connecters to consumer API for barcode generation.
The solutions implemented by YASH not only helped the client reduce their approval processing time significantly, they also had complete accessibility of the applications on any device. Significantly higher information availability and lesser costs led to improved decision-making and healthy balance-sheets for the client.
