With 90,000+ departures transporting 14.8 million passengers, 3.2 million cars, 900,000 freight units, and 60,000 busses, the client lacked proper documentation from their previous SRM implementation.
The client had no documentation available from their previous SRM implementation. All reporting had stopped as the SAP Business Warehouse system was not utilized and extensive data issues were experienced. Without any prior training for the support activities of the existing SRM system, there was an urgent need to upgrade the SAP SRM System and SAP Business Warehouse Analytics for seamless and productive communication between the organization and suppliers.
YASH consulted the client and found that upgrades had to be done within a tight timeline and budget. The team recommended the implementation of SAP Solution Manager in addition to the SAP SRM upgrade for an enhanced experience. This enabled proactive monitoring with SAP Solution manager as well as rapid implementation of SAP BW Analytics for SRM within the timeline, all while complying to the Financial Accounting Standards Board Interpretations (FASBI).
These implements and upgrades helped the client tackle operational costs and risks with the increased transparency in the enterprise. Not only were we able to achieve a low TCO for the SAP landscape, the entire reporting system was also optimized and streamlined for higher efficiency.
