Managing a contingent dairy workforce of 42,000+ cost-effectively with SAP SuccessFactors
Headquartered in UAE, the client is one of the leading dairy manufacturers in the Middle East with more than 42,000 employees delivering on customer commitment with high quality.
The client’s existing SAP ECC ERP was a highly customized system, and was not upgraded for a long time causing upgrade challenges.
As a result, the client faced additional struggles in meticulously preparing the training calendar for a large workforce. Without any inbuilt document management system to scan and store the documents in an SAP HCM system, there was a lack of centralized visibility of all workforce information. This called for costly, full-fledged customization of the SAP system.
YASH consultants understood the client’s business needs and architected a cloud-based solution to streamline and analyses the HR information. The team deployed SAP SuccessFactors (SF) to streamline HR operations and supersede the existing legacy solutions and spreadsheets. A business intelligence platform – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), was also implemented to analyse the organization’s HR data from SAP SuccessFactors, and Single-Sign-On was implemented for both the systems. The consultants also developed the ‘Data models,’ for the various dashboards, in collaboration with the client HR personnel and CXO’s, and as per their needs.
After understanding the client’s needs thoroughly, YASH’s team of consultants advised the client on the roadmap for SAP SuccessFactors implementation in multiple modules. The team then deployed the SAP learning management solution for 42,000 employees, with further customizations in ‘Performance management’ and ‘goal’ setting for all employees. Not only were the existing issues fixed within the SAP HCM, the SAP SuccessFactors solution was also implemented as per the client’s business processes, as well as enabled for mobile use from anywhere.
