Job Description - Salesforce Business Development Manager  

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources to meet the assigned quotas for their role.    

Responsibilities: 
You will be responsible for generating new business within a mid-to-large target Salesforce Account and play a key role to drive strategic CRM or Cloud Application initiatives. You must be able to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied customers that can be referenced in future sales cycles.   

Requirements: 
• 5-10 years of experience in services selling for Salesforce cloud applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, Einstein Analytics, MuleSoft, and/or Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking. 
• Leverage sales leads and qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
• Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each. 
• Ability to engage and sell C-Level and across both IT and business units 
• Ability to sell both an application implementation and management of the platform 
• A proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals - Strong track record and history of carrying and exceeding a sales quota 
• Maintain a high level of relevant product domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects. 

Desired Skills: 
• Knowledge of the unique business opportunities and solutions within the Enterprise accounts 
• Establish relationships and secure contracts with new customers that achieve/exceed assigned sales quotas and targets.
• Account planning and execution skills 
• Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement. 
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment 
• Bachelor's Degree desired
