Looking for better operational performance, the client wanted to upgrade their legacy SAP systems in-line with the latest releases in a scalable, cost-efficient way.
Given the requirement for a system that would ensure business continuity proactively, lower the total cost of ownership of applications, and provide round-the-clock support for critical technical failures. There was also the need for periodic health checks to make sure there were no unnecessary downtimes, as well as a comprehensive automation-led testing strategy for new roll-outs and functionalities.
After performing a detailed system assessment of the client’s SAP systems, YASH BASIS consultants proactively performed day-to-day monitoring of the system through Early Watch Reports (EWR). The team also upgraded the client’s database, SAP solution manager as well as MS-SQL, Enterprise Portal and others. The Solution Manager was installed for a complete management of an app’s lifecycle as well as the capabilities tailored to ensure smooth application operations. A disaster recovery system was set up and ensured that it was in sync with the production system.
